Vanbots is pleased to be part of this Canadian landmark project. The scope of work for this project entails a complete addition and renovation to Canada¡¦s most prestigious museum in the heart of Toronto. It includes 220,000 sf of the new ¡§Crystal¡¨ form addition and 280,000 sf renovation of existing facilities.
The project is phased starting the spring of 2003 and has been sequentially opening numerous galleries throughout the existing ROM facility. The crystal was opened to great fanfare in the nude in early June 2007. Sequential gallery space openings will be taking place throughout the rest of the year.
Prior to the start of construction, Vanbots acted as ROM¡¦s Building Department, providing full pre-construction services which included scheduling, budgeting, value engineering, construction review, etc.
